“Poor” is your word, not mine. The HHI amount should enable one to live a bit above “paycheck to paycheck”. However, I do recognize that there are ways to economize (such as living with a roommate/other wage earner) even though I am not basing my statements in any way on a luxurious lifestyle.
P.S. Are the dollar amounts for Washington DC correct ?
