I was awarded by the local police station for helping them arrest a criminal.
I want to write that on my common app but I cant find the right section for it.
Which section should I write this in?
Honors section, that’s what I would do! What a neat accomplishment 
Or you can put a few sentences in Additional Information.
Definitely include it in either section as mentioned above.
