The COUNTDOWN to EA decisions

I’m only one of two in my SENIOR class to apply out of state. It’s so sad.

OK, you win.

he wins…

4 days… or 5… depending on if you believe the e-mail ^_^

thats pretty crazy

I agree…

So the kids at my school who applied to Amherst ED already found out, even though their official date was 12/15-ish. Does Yale ever decide to also send out letters days in advance?

Oh, nevermind. But a girl can still hope.

PS: Can we PLEASE get this over with already?

I’m hoping with you, kath.

so … are we going to hear on the 15th?

Who knows…the e-mail says the 16th, but just about every kid on here is going to start checking compulsively at midnight on the 14th, so it doesn’t much matter, anyway.

heck, I’m already checking semi-compulsively. I wonder if Yale knows every time you log in. In which case I should probably stop

Or perhaps they’d recognize your dedication/interest and make sure you’re admitted.

O, wishful thinking…how I love thee.

I know an admissions officer and apparently the decisions won’t be up until Friday. They still have some decisions to make this week. Another interesting tidbit is that rural applications soared this year. That’s all I have.

Wow, is all I havta say. I’m curious as to what’s taking so long?

these last kids are cases that mightve been turned down but that the officers feel really strongly about. as my officer described it when i was standing in the Committee Room at the Admissions Office- “this is were i begged and pleaded with your files”

today in spanish we were watching a documentary on Pancho Villa and in it they said his remains are thought to be in possession of the skull and bones society at Yale!

-the world just keeps throwing yale in my face at the most unexpected times!

nooooo not the 16th! I was so counting on the 15th, I’m not even home the 16th!!!

So Yale if someone over there is reading this, PLEASE post on the 15th (earlier would be allright as well ;))

What’s taking so long?

They started examining the applications on December 1st - they’ve only had 12 days to go through 4,000 of them

Are you serious??

Dec 1st?

wow…

I know someone in Cali already got their deferral letter yesterday. So apparently they send Cali notices earlier? Unless his got out by accident somehow…
