<p>“You’d be perfect for Princeton, but unfortunately you’re not Polish.”</p>
<p>Something about some professor doing research on Polish immigrants, but out of context, it was hilarious. Also I did not want to go to Pee-ton.</p>

<p>This is particular concerns transfer admissions (I’m attempting this year), but someone told me to write my ‘why Yale’ essay about why I DON’T want go to Yale…right</p>

<p>someone told my mom to quit her job so my family could make less money. and this girl in my class told me her family seriously considered moving to montana so she could get into brown.</p>
<p>Ha ha, I play the accordion and even travel with an accordion band, and am writing an essay about it when I apply to Yale SCEA, hopefully it works out! :)</p>
<p>I don’t believe any musical organization at yale recruits applicants. Only athletic teams recruit. Consequently, talent in an unusual musical niche will not get you in. At least not any more than having any other interesting talent.</p>
<p>^Some people do get in to top schools because they have orchestral needs, though. I know people who’ve gotten into Princeton for that reason.</p>
<p>Oh, and my cousins are staying in Nebraska to help their last kid (of three) with college admissions. But they already lived there.</p>
