The Dean of CMU school if Indus.Design now at Univ. of Cincinnati

I just found out that the former Associate dean of the Carnegie Mellon School of Fine Arts and professor of Design(Craig Vogel) is now at University of Cincinnati.

Here is is resume:

M. Vogel is currently the Associate Dean of the School of Fine Arts and a Professor in the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He previously served as Co-chair of the Visual Communications Department for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is the current Chair of the Board of the 2,900-member Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), where he serves as Chief Advisory Officer and a member of the planning and executive committees. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the WORLDESIGN Foundation.

This was quite a coup for Cincinnati.

Craig was never associate Dean at CMU. He was, however, President of the IDSA.

I copied this resume off of an article and off his own resume.

No, you copied it off an article at ArtSchool.com.

I was, however, mistaken - it does indeed look like he was Associate Dean. He was also Director of Graduate Studies.

Craig was one of the best professors I had at CMU.
