The Dry - April CC Book Club Selection

I’m very excited to report that I got Force of Nature, which is the sequel to The Dry, from my library this weekend. I started it last night and was about a third of the way into it when I forced myself to put it down so I could bring it to work today to read during my lunch hour.

I’ll be busy between noon and 1:00 pm Central Time today.

I also read Force of Nature after I finished The Dry. I really enjoyed both books. I’m new to this book list and I’m liking the new choice as well. Thanks for all the work coordinating this!

Welcome, @my2sonsfromca! I’m glad you’ve joined us!

Finished Force of Nature last night and looking forward to what’s next for Aaron Falk.

Amazing similarities to the book. Almost spooky.

I guess that means that The Dry is very realistic, since these things really do happen in rural Australia.

^ @VeryHappy my first thought when I heard about this sad event

^ Me, too! Uncanny. And terribly tragic, of course. Latest update is that the grandfather murdered the family before killing himself.

I read Force of Nature - Aaron Falk #2. I really liked it. It’s cold and wet rather than hot and dry this time.
