The field of Tissue Engineering?

<p>Is this a good field to go into?</p>

<p>Is most tissue engineering work done in industry or academia?</p>

<p>Which type of artificial organ, prosthetic ones or grown ones, are seeing most development?</p>

<p>I’m very interested in artificial organs so I want to know if a mechanical engineering degree or a chemical engineering degree would be best for that.</p>

<p>A few groups at my school are looking into 3D printing tissue. I think it is an emerging field, and probably mostly in the R&D area. Search around!</p>
