MY freshman son just got home, too! I’m happy because he almost didn’t make it - the Super Shuttle he had booked never showed up to take him to the airport. He had to call a cab and got to the airport in Houston through rush hour traffic with just 5 minutes to spare! He’s home and safe now and a lot wiser about planning ahead for emergencies. :)

H and I have been dieting since Feb. 10 and I have lost 12 pounds! He has lost 13.

S is doing great as a freshman, dean’s list fall semester, and this week was picked as an alternate to go with the band to the basketball post-season tournaments (all expenses paid…that might be the best part!).

Life is good.
H and I are planning a 30 year anniversary trip.
DD1 is excited to start a 2 year commuting assignment in a fun city on a project with many age peers.
DS will be interviewing for his company’s LDP (leadership development program) to start in June (if selected).
DD2 is having a great 2nd semester. Classes are at times that fit her ‘clock’ and are interesting! She’ll be picking up some work shifts when she’s home for break.
