<p>If I were writing an essay on the SAT about The Help what would be the literary objective? Is it that individuals have a choice in what they could believe in (because in the novel, a lot of people are influenced so easily by their peers) or that it’s just to inform readers on what it was like being colored in the 1960’s? Or neither?</p>
