<p>Your friend’s mother or father should call the school and courteously inquire. In any case, if your friend wishes to remain on the wait list, she or he should write a letter to the school to that effect.</p>
<p>I am a senior at Hewitt, and Hewitt doesn’t do either of these things. Girls are selected based on their character, their dedication to their schoolwork, and general willingness to be a part of the community, as we are very close.</p>
