<p>hey, all of you Brown attendees, i have a quick ?. in the eyes of a Brown U. adcom, wat is the perfect essay? (stupid ?) essay focused on one of your interests? essay focused on why brown is best for you (something i hope to do, by mentioning my goal of being a doc/brown’s excellence in that subject area)?? those of you who attend, and got in with 2150-2250 SATs/ top decile in rankings/ ~4.4 W GPA…do you think your essays were the determining factor? if so, wat were they like??? thanks</p>
<p>Well bpatel, here’s how it goes. There’s an essay on WHY Brown, so I think you should probably answer that question there…and…really man, ther’es no ideal essay because we don’t live in an ideal world. Just have fun with it…act like you’re talking on the phone or something, you know?</p>
<p>yeah, man, you should probably just be yourself, rather than focusing on a specific formula. I mean, if everyone tried to find the secret recipe to get in, then the essays would all start to look the same. Work to find an essay that you are proud of and that will show them something about you…</p>
