wow i hated my 8th grade soc (history) teacher… when she talked about the transcontinental railroad… shed always stop in the middle of the class… look really shocked… and ask me if i was offended cause ‘my people’ died constructing it…

um… made me feel really awkward… so one day i got really p.issed and was venting to one of my friends in the hall and i was like… yea so i dont frickin care if ‘my people’ died building that railroad… the more dead chinks the better…

she was right behind me… she never said a word to me… ever again that year… lol

does twinkie = bannana = abc = wAsain

or do the former three refer to fully ethnically asian people who were raised in the states?

just plain wasian haha

twinkie = banana = whitewashed (basically)

twinkie’s are nice people.

185 hours 45 minutes ;)

i can’t believe it can reasonably be measured in hours.

twinkie’s taste good, but i prefer hoho’s… what with the hours?

Random question:

If an applicant has immigrant parents but similar stats as an applicant with rich parents who have lived in the US their whole lives, how much of an advantage do they have?

you’ve asked that Q about 500 times krabble. Honestly? Using the old Brown theory, it could go either way. You’re a much more attractive candidate, b/c there is, of course, a high correlation between wealth and high test scores, fancy ec’s, opportunities, etc.
But, nonetheless, between two candidates at the bottom of the pool, the rich kids have two advantages. 1) Higher test scores. While they’re not a good measure when compared to poor (you know what i mean) kids’ scores, they’re what appear on the USNWR, and affect the ranges and averages. 2) They can pay. So the rich kid may have an advantage if he’s at the bottom of the pool, but he’ll be at a distinct disadvantage at the top. In the middle? idk
