The Indian Thread (TiT) # 14

Do you guys wanna name it DESI FEVER.

nope if its a legacy the name should not change.

And Sachit you and i are at brother schools.
I am from St. Joseph’s Academy, Dehra Dun
same trust (patrician brothers)
from My school its pretty much just me applying to US and another friend.

Oh **** I wrote my school as a public school on someplace (but I dont know if its going to make any difference…is it)

Vampiro, u must have filled that in the CommonApp.

i repeat my question for all on this page
okey ppl… wht shud the next INdian thread be called…since its a legacy

and I repeat once again that it should be called The Indian Thread only as it is a legacy.

The name, as per the norms, should be :

** The Indian Thread (TiT) #15 **

Last year also there were a lot of discussion about the naming for this thread and finally this thread was named without disturbing the so-called legacy. So, today it is ** The Indian Thread (TiT) # 14 **

.

The Indian Thread (TiT) #15

hey guys, sorry for the cra{p} suggestion of DESI FEVER.

Yeah, THE INDIAN THREAD #15 sounds just fine.

Long live Indians! Long live “THE INDIAN THREAD”!

Cheers.

anyways…

undecided right now. wat bout u???

taj cool name. computer eng. or Biotech for me

i’m plannin on majoring in Biomed eng and then eventually pursue a career in the medical field. well at the moment thats the plan, but things could change…
are all of y’all planning to go to the states?

Guys, why not name it Indian Thread #15 - Desi Fever or something of that sort. then #16 you can tag with something else… be creative rather than mechanical. Like they do with sitcom episodes… NAME it as well as NUMBER it.
PS: DONT forget to put “TiT” in the name  with proper capitalization of course.

yes…THE INDIAN THREAD #15 : Desi Challenge

not desi challege.

Maybe

The Indian Thread (TiT) # 15 : Destination America/ Abroad

The Indian Thread (TiT) # 15 : Desi Fever

The Indian Thread (TiT) # 15 : any other suggestion u guys have

Great suggestion merc. Well Depending on the type of attitude we share. It can also be called
The Indian Thread (TiT) #15: Scre w IIT

oh and btw I am planning to major in computer Science and Engineering with minor concentration in Bioinformatics or Economics (who Knows!)

scre{w} IIT…hahaha…that sounds cool to me.

yeah, a combo of CS and business/economics would be gr8…especially from UPenn.

here is my final univ list, and id greatly appreciate comments and suggestions.

hard to get in

stanford
berkeley
upenn

good chance

ucla
carnegie mellon
UT Austin
Univ Of Chicago

easy to get in

univ of michigan, ann harbor

and, which are the other rankings besides usnews. personally, i don trust usnews that much.

sachit theres a ranking list available on www.graduateshotline.com and www.f1study.com …the Princeton Review one is available only to paid memmbers…btw why don’t you trust US news rankings??..i suppose they are the most widely accepted…

Another thing, you have put Umich in you “easy to get in” list but UT Austin in your “good chances” list…is UT Austin harder to get in??..till now i have been thinking that UT Austin is fairly easy to get in…
