<p>Nah, but I have their brochure from when they visited Mumbai. The admissions guy was pretty decent, the Carnegie dude was clueless.</p>
<p>Not that you havent heard but actually there arent any schols at UMich at alll for intels of any sort…</p>
<p>Also Umich has rolling admissions so admission decisions are based on when u apply not when they reply…</p>
<p>MIT and Caltech both like a bit more scientific oriented nerds or otherwise highly human individuals… MIT being a university with areas other than science …is more liberal but no less technical …</p>

<p>Yep but the difference between MIT and Caltech is…Caltech is more pure science based and MIT is more engineering oriented.
Then at Caltech even an economic major or any major will have to suffer 2 years of science core curriculum whereas at MIT people who want to be sciency are like wow…and those who want to be normal are also okay as they dont neccesarily have to study the hardcore science stuff.</p>
<p>to that extent yes… though we still know …that MIT ppl are already well equipped mentally, physically, emotionally to handle anything of that sort also…</p>
