radhika, aid situation at IUB is good except that they have a large loan component (total around 16,500 euro after three years + compund interest at 7.5%).

But you will always be able to attend becuase admission is need-blind and they provide full aid. If you apply early enough and your app is strong, they might even remove your loan and give you additional scholarship/grant so you will have no loan either.

That said, the aid covers tuition+food+housing but does not cover books and other personal expenses. In practice you have to spend a minimum of 1000-2000 euro/yr from your side, even though the official minimum contribution will be like 250 euro/year or something.

In any case, don’t hold yourself back because of finaid, because overall it’s great.

actually, i got a letter from the engg. department saying i have been admitted, and ill be getting the package soon. cant give u more info, cuz i havent seen it yet (i had given somene else’s address as mailing address)

i just got an acceptance email from IUB!! hehe… i wasn’t expecitin anythin until late march!.. and my app was soo randomly done, this came as a pleasant surprise!
