<p>I got my letter from UT Austin, acceptance for college of engineering!
So far 3 out of my 9 universities have responded, all positive!!

<p>dexter, I applied exactly on the deadline… Feb 1st… My LORs and transcripts reached them on Jan 31st… So it was down too the wire…</p>

<p>well my sat is 2070…rank 14/990…i saw that u applied to gatech rite on the deadline as well but still u got a decision quite early…did u send 100 dollar bills in your envelopes!!! :D</p>
<p>so OG did u giv in TOEFL … i am having trouble with my TOEFL… those freaking crazy ppl. are the only ones of my odd 13-14 places that are not waiving the toefl . But i heard all is for name… they would anyways consider my app and lemme knw… </p>

<p>2070 is quite good. I have a score of 2040… And my SAT2 is 770 & 700.
Did you give the SAT2? That can make a difference even if the university hasn’t asked for it… </p>
<p>Gatech, I was late My transcripts reached them on Feb 9th… the deadline was Jan 15th… I was pretty certain i had screwed it till i opened my mail a few weeks later…</p>
<p>That said, your scores look good and I see NO REASON at all why you wouldn’t be accepted at UT austin… Heck, you would have gotten into Gatech if u had sent the damn evaluations :)</p>
<p>smartmind, I didn’t give my toefl… Unless you get a bad Verbal or writing score, most universities will waive it… but still i’d recommend you take it if you have time… I didn’t get time…
Also, I claimed that English was my first language on the application… and no one questioned that and no one asked for the TOEFL…</p>

<p>also as of toefl i do knw that stuff … well … it isnt otherwise that i got my waiver frm the remaining 13 colleges which otherwise include ones that dont waive it… BUt austin was damn adamant… and well it did show up on my application trracker also that toefl is missing… DID it show on in ur case tooo…?</p>
