<p>For anyone who cares, my Carnegie Mellon decisions page now has a small line saying:" Decsion:Accept" which im guessing means that im admitted. Cornell on the other hand, unilaterally withdrew my application…$80 went down the drain, i could have bought a new acoustic guitar with that much.</p>

I checked with Visa services they said that even to book an online appointment we need the I_20 and SEVIS.</p>
<p>so we can fix an appt only after we get an I-20!!!

<p>Cornell withdrew my app because they didn’t recieve everything…apparently…but I had sent all the missing stuff again, so that’s a put-outer.</p>
<p>For the Visa thing, as soon as you get the I-20, fill it out, go to HDFC and get the VISA form thingy then just fix an appointment online.</p>
<p>Well, I got into CMU also — both Electrical and COmputer Engineering as well as School of Computer Science! </p>
<p>Where did all those admitted to CMU from here get into which depts.???</p>

<p>today we all think we’re throu IIT just bec we have real good percentile scores at FIIT-JEE, but think again…i know ACE rank #1 who’s bombed IIT and one of the failures there getting rank 91…</p>
