Well till class 10 i was under state board and got the horrible percent (81) then …now i am under CBSE…
I will send my actual marksheet for class12 cbse that i will get as i am confident of something atleast gr8er than 88% (atleast in best four , i am sure i will )… And i hav heard the admission decision is based on class 12 report…

Also tell me more abt sat option of sending… how do i do that…found no info.,… and what would be required marks …scores In sat and CBSE class 12 then…

can i not send only the converted report of my class 10 (state board and send original of class 12…
Help me on the NUS front as i am clueless… i hav gone through the whole website…

Smart-> I am not that aware of this fact myself but I got to know it from akash (akashbansal or abduke) and as I am not much interested in it I am not going to search for it so you can find this info from Sucharita or adides or merc or better from Akash(but its hard to get hold of him on the forum).
Next thing " And i hav heard the admission decision is based on class 12 report…". There is zero possibility of this because the class 12th reports aren’t even out and you get the decision letter before that all that you have to send is your predicted grades.

Hey just two posts in the whole day that’s abysmal.

Sachit, I am on a standstill after the one recc and one essay brainstorm. Where are you on the process.

Hey just read this “When you registered, you requested that your scores be sent to
the institutions below. The first four SAT score reports are
sent for free. Any additional reports, up to eight total, are
$9.00 each. Your scores will be sent about 2-3 weeks
after your test date.”
This is from the confirmation letter from Collegeboard. Now tell me one thing the extract says “up to eight total” does this mean that we can send scores only to 12 Universities, How will I send scores to more Universities.

ok… how do you guys send the toefl scores to colls? i mean it costs $17 per report! SAT reports are only $9, why is the damned TOEFL so expensive?

is it possible to send photocopies or sth if the TOEFL reports are required?

and vampiro, I am pretty sure they don’t have a limit to the number or schools you can send ur SAT scores to. Where did u read that ‘eight total’ thing? perhaps tht is the case if your scores aren’t yet available.

as I said from the Email collegeboard sends to conform SAT registration. Maybe that means that each form has eight columns for sending reports and for more we need extra forms.
And yeah the TOEFL thing sucks…but just send them only to schools that need them coz most waive off the requirement if you have good CR scores on the SAT. Ask the schools that

$70+$17+$9+mailing costs… and tht’s for a single college

this application thing can get really costly… i’m seriously considering asking for fee waivers from a few colls now. but is it advisable to ask for fee waivers from some colleges and not from others?

and btw vampiro, i just noticed that thing in my email too. “up to eight total”…!

Well i am taking the sat1 in october and Sat11 in novemeber …
Hope i get gud CR scores (screwed it up comletely in June sat )…everything else ok… …

And infact a few US ones allow you to send photocopies initially but then if u are accepted want you to confirm them and verify with official scores … that way some cost is saved…

It sure is accepted at many top colleges also…

tht’s good news. but i’ll have to check with individual colleges.

and i took the SAT in june too. screwed up the CR section and the essay in the writin section. unfortunately, i haven’t taken the SAT IIs yet so I’ll have tht to worry about in october. have my finals in november. so maybe i’ll retake the SAT I in december. but am still thinkin abt it… :)
