<p>There was an interesting article in the Wall Street Journal today about John Hennessy’s dual role as a board member of Google and Stanford President. Most of the $911.2 million dollars raised in the last year was due to his initiatives and Silicon Valley connections. He apparently receives $700,000 as compensation in his role as President, which is peanuts compared to the $42 million he has earned in the last four years by selling vested shares of Google and Atheros.</p>
