<p>It’s not that there’s particularly a point. This is just a place where we exchange any news that we might have re: colleges, vent a bit, and indulge in hifalutin discourse. 
We did talk about more meaningful things earlier, and we will once the results come out, but right now, due to the lull period, there really isn’t anything concrete to talk about. Hence TiT…</p>

Just a piece of Advice to bas007…If u dont hav something ‘‘meaningful’’ to post, u can always post on CAFE…if u continue like this, TiT#15 will b endangered of being closed…and I am sure none here wants that to happen…)…</p>

<p>Btw, I hav heard that VIT (Vellore) is quite good for engineering and SRM has collaborations with MIT…

<p>VIT isn’t bad at all, although in my school it has something of a reputation for being the IIT-reject club. (Of course, my school’s also insane.) No idea about SRM.</p>
<p>The problem with VIT is…there’s almost nothing to do and you aren’t allowed to go off campus…plus lots of other ****ty strict rules…</p>
<p>Vellore’s the dullest town on the planet, almost. 
But I suppose the education’s okay, if you’re willing to sacrifice the so-called college experience.</p>

<p>Almost similar is the case with IIT,Chennai…but IIT is ‘‘IIT’’ after all…</p>
<p>Well I’m back from my Princeton interview (It was as you may say “satisfactory”) (I’m suffering from an overdose of Elliot here :D)</p>
<p>50 minutes, pretty good, although the interviewer wasn’t as engaging/interested as previous interviewers have been.</p>

<p>k_twin, how many interviews have you had in total? (Purely out of curiosity.)</p>
<p>IIT Madras has quite a nice campus, though, as Indian campuses go. And I like Madras as a city (compared to Bangalore, at least!), although the weather’s royally effed up.</p>
<p>MIT, Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Rice. I think that’s it.</p>
