Accepted into University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business!

Guys, the A level results are out! I got mine today, did pretty good, straight A’s for Econ, Business and History.

@ dda – dude how did you find out the tracking number of the DHL package?

Congrats, Aditya :)

What is RPI? Isn’t it Ressenlaer Polytechnic? I thought they gave aid? Although Canadians don’t count as internationals, in many places.

We’re mostly Indians of Indian descent.

I’m studying English, finally. Why do they test us on our ability to make NOTES?!

I’m just getting pumped for Desert Rock. I’m psyched for Prodigy and Iron Maiden, it should be awesome!

I read Robert Plant is also going to be there. He’s going to play all the Led Zeppelin classics. :D

Kriti – notes. GOD. Don’t remind me. (I’m not studying for English, because quite frankly I can’t be arsed to. If I do well, I shall. If I don’t, well – THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND MY ERUDITE WRITING. SO THERE.)

Shrivats – well, stop it. It can’t be good for you to angst either. The universe might implode into a little angsty black hole, or something.

Re. concert – eh, not a big fan, really. Friends are all going, though.

Sk8rBoi Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of bas007 Inc… LOL

Well in recent news, Shri and I just got accepted to Michigan :); so I know I’ve got some place to go!

Congrats k_twin and Shrivats!!! :)

Congrats @ the twins.

Has anyone who applied to Colgate got the brochure that describes the first 100 days at Colgate? Other international students have got it, I haven’t, I’m freaking.

Congrats twins. :)

Thanks. :D

Finally I know I’m not going to have to write the AIEEE and all of that. (UMich was safety, but hey, a Tufts could always have happened. :))

@ Noldo and Kriti: This is where i sit back, reflect on studying and writing about Shakespeare for English, and about writing 5 page brilliant essays with beautiful prompts, throw my head back, and laugh with complete and utter schadenfreude. :D

Not that that was any help, but :):)

I like the word Schadenfreude. But then I also have a fondness for Weltanshauung and Zeitgeist. (I should have applied to IUB, shouldn’t I? :p)

Shrivats, I hate you. Now that you’ve been accepted somewhere…

I think only Noldo and I are still hanging in the balance. Everyone else has been accepted somewhere. AARGH.

Yep, it’s just us, Kriti. angsting and woe Congratulations to the twins, though.

I have a very real fear that everyone’s going to toss me. Or accept me and not give me aid, therefore rendering me angsty and in-an-ironic-situation.

Nice one twins. Did they accept you on the same day?

Lakshya - Plant is on tomrorrow

The one’s that we actually want to go to still remain for us though. (All 13 of them :p)

Noldo: I’d like to feel sympathetic, but the second I try, I remember you’re in the UK pool for MIT, and all sympathy, just sort of, evanesces.

Seriously though, we know that if anybody deserves to get into the colleges you’ve applied to, you do. So Chin up, and other pseudo-Wodehousian utterances :D

@inshallah: It doesn’t matter. I can’t go anyway. :(

@Noldo: What Shrivats said. And you’re just 15! If things don’t work out this year - there’s always next year. You’ll still be a year younger than the average applicant. And you can do loads of things to improve on your application. :D

@inshallah: On the same day, in fact today, in fact, not less than 15 minutes ago, to be precise. :)

See that’s how highly we value this lot of disreputable fellows up here! Or at least that’s how addicted we’ve become to CC. :)
