We really don’t have any school left actually. Our Farewell’s over, and as soon as the Boards are done we don’t have any reason to ever return. (Of course the way things normally happen, we’ll probably still be going to school nearly every day for Debate and the like. :p) Other than that, after tomorrow, we’re done.</p>

<p>You might find a book I have interesting, Lakshya, its part of a series on philosophy, ancient, and I’ve been unable to find the other books in the series anywhere. It’s essentially a commentary on 19th century philosophers (Kant, Schopenhauer, Goethe and the like) by a Harvard prof of philosophy, with analysis and samplings from their works.</p>

<p>In my opinion, the Cambridge Companion books aren’t really useful for beginners. I think they’re meant for people who seriously want to study Kant (or whoever the book is about) rather than just studying his philosophy.</p>
<p>If you’re really keen, why not dive into his “critique of pure reason”? You might not be able to understand it completely at first, but eventually you will. I too wanted to read Kant’s Critique, but I thought it would be a better idea to start with the British Empiricists and then read Kant as a follow up. So I’ve started with Locke’s essay - but thats no easy read either!</p>
<p>I’ve already read ‘Critique of Pure Reason’. And I’ve also read Locke’s ‘Two Treatise of Government’ online at Project Gutenburg. Though, I haven’t really found anything else by him.</p>
