I’ve managed to fall behind both Shrivats and K in number of posts. Shrivats’ harangue about language didn’t help me too much either. Good luck all of you with your Stanford decision. Hope some of you will choose to come.

I actually know a girl who moved to Hyderabad to attend FIITJEE just because there wasn’t one in Bangalore at that point. Bit frightening, innit?

Yeah. Either marvellously dedicated or marvellously insane, I haven’t decided which. (Of course, this is from the point of view of someone who did no IIT prep until late February this year, so I suppose I simply don’t understand the motivation.)

Ah, IIT. Driving India insane since the year whateveritwas.

I’ve been spending the morning browsing through the CMU site, (I recommend it most thoroughly if you want to waste a good few hours); figured that if since I’ve got to make an informed decision on where I’m going for college, I might as well be informed! :)

As recent as that, then? I’d always thought IIT was rather ancient, shows what I know.

I browsed the CMU site back when I was filling out apps. Quit when I realised that there was no aid offered – can’t afford college on my own! (Not a bad site as college sites go, though.)

And issac – yes, that was a good prediction! :D

I think you made your point, Shrivats. (Though I’ve noticed that my English has deteriorated rather since I moved to India, myself. Bloody CBSE!)
