The Indian Thread (TiT) # 15

P.S: They’ve removed New Posts!!! (:()

You don’t need to refresh Gmail. New emails show up automatically.

I’ll refresh anyway!

Oooh: Yesterday’s daily Round Up: :p: 235 posts!
And lots of acceptances! :)

No, I was referring to sheer hysteria actually… ;)

Much easier actually refreshing the page. That way you feel you’re doing something.

…Okay, where did that post go? Eh? What?

Has anyone worked out the order in which they want to see their results? I’ve applied to HYP,Columbia, Cornell and Penn. Do all of them give out the results at the same time?

Well, they’re supposed to sp. But you’ll have to manually check for a few of them, so then the order’s in your hands. For those that email though, it’ll just be a whole lot of emails in succession.

@Noldo: Maybe the CC Gods saw that it wasn’t really about anything and removed it.

(Peers at the comp, notes that The Indian Thread still exists and breathes a sigh of relief.) :D

which of them are giving out emails?

Ah now that’s a question. I don’t even know how I’m supposed to check my decisions in most of the cases! :p

here is the chatroom link for people who plan on using it:

Bookmark it!

@shrivats- most of the colleges did not send any emails informing how to check decisions. Only Stanford, Princeton and Duke did.

I’ve only applied to two Ivies – Cornell and Princeton – so it’ll be alphabetical order for me. size=1[/size]

Congratulations Shrivats, Kaushik, Lakshya!

sorry, spacepirate :(.

TODAY’S IVY-BERKELEY-HAMILTON THURSDAY!

I hate colleges that send decisions in the mail. Snail mail, I mean.

By the way, you can be relieved, I got myself to relax over Vassar. It was my first rejection (I think). I still have hope, but well, I’m in Oberlin!

What are you talking about?

Harvard sends out emails. Cornell’s decisions come out on the application status website. Columbia’s is on the app.applyyourself site. Don’t know about the rest.

I just know that Stanford’s also on the applyyourself site (day after tomorrow, though). And it’s the only one I’ll seriously consider, to be honest, so we shall see.

The snail mail’s been lucky for me! (Seriously. Rejections were all online. I’m considering dumping online decisions and waiting for the post.)

Princeton’s given out a link in the email. Dunno about Yale and Penn.

Yale’s is on the ELI Account, check your old email, they sent one.

mm, now I remember.

Hey guys im a bit late catching up!! so CONGRATS TO LAKSHYA AND THE TWINS ON SOME FANTASTIC ACCEPTANCES!!!

Thanks Kriti and Noldo (as well as those who posted earlier); I join you in that statement of hatred, kriti, I’m just glad I didn’t apply anywhere that sent through snail mail, don’t think I could bear the wait! :p
