Woah! Quite a few decisions last night. Well done to the twins, Lakshya and dda. One of my friends got into JHU (the sameone whos accepted at oxford and caltech) and another ‘friend’ got waitlisted. Another friend also got accepted at Stern…though he’s American.

lala: Shrivats and Kaushik are the twins :p

I read an article in the WSJ that NYU is the most popular college among students followed by Princeton and Harvard. Stanford is the most popular choice among parents. Hmmm…

I’m one of those odd people who never wanted to go to Harvard, not ever. Wanted MIT since I was seven or so (no, I’m not exaggerating, but that’s a sore subject). Heard of Caltech after reading Feynman (you know. I don’t mean Lectures, I mean ‘Surely You’re Joking’), so probably age nine. Stanford I only got familiar with in the eleventh grade.

lala56, depends upon where you’re talking about. For Need-Blind colleges we’ve applied for aid; for non Need-Blind, we’ve not. (another reason why JHU falls on our list)

But really, Financial Aid and all money-related matters are best discussed within your family/at a personal level really.

(Trying to compose a haiku (standard poetry’s for the weak! :D) for Duke.)

Oh you know, your average, normal 7 year old, I mean what else is there to think about? :D

'Course this is from a very odd person who read aloud the explanation of photosynthesis from one of those 'cycopedia things when he was about 5 or 6 (Which I only believe due to documented video evidence.)

I’ve been to the MIT Press bookstore. I own you all. Hahaha! I’ve also been to the Harvard Campus, I have a picture of a 14 year old me holding John Harvard’s feet. (Basically, I’ve been to Boston.)

spacepirate, I’ve been prepared for decisions ever since I sent my apps out.

Okay guys,. eight hours and twenty minutes!
