Kriti: Take you name off waitlist. Free some space for me; Williams is a piece of **** compared to Oberlin.

Very very cool.

Okay, how do I get working on my waitlist?

Sorry, Abhi :(. You’re waitlisted too? I’ve already confirmed I’m staying on the waitlist.

Are you trying to make a list of where everyone is planning to go or where they got accepted?

One question for Shrivats and k_twin:
Don’t you think its very odd (bearing no negative connotations) that both of you were accepted/rejected at the same places?

Anyway, do you guys want to go to the same college?

They say above that they will be making individual decisions regarding that and if they are the same then oh well 4 more years of each other.

Since I know them well , I dont think its odd because they have achieved nearly the same things in every sphere be it academic or co-curricular!

Twins often get accepted rejected at the same place (Tharoor’s twins got into Yale)

no whatver gave you guys he impression brown admits high scorers?

here I am an inaternational, from India(of all the places) with a 1370 …

almost evry single person i asked told me to forget about it…told me your wasting your time…the university really means it when they say the SAT 's are only one part of your application.

Brown loves High scorers! Admit rate for 2300+ is the highest at Brown.

In your case, other parts of your app must be strong: Essays, ECs, Legacy

I got in with a 2130 on the SAT. I’m not a legacy and I don’t have outstanding EC’s. I do think my essay was very good though.

Hey everybody, I have a doubt here.

I gave my credentials and marksheets to a foreign credential evaluation company, Joseph and Silny www.jsilny.com.

My report explicitly stated this :
“Mr.Pyro’s current academic high school grade point average in U.S. Terms is 4.003.”

Is this possible ?

Guys, Someone threw an insult on me but it’s in English:
Any Idea, what it means?

Any o u dudes up ?

Congrats Kriti! :D

We’re still in a state of confusion. (Look for a mega post from us in College Admissions. :))

I’m tending towards Penn at the moment (Ivy! Ivy! :p) K’s still undecided. :D

Shrivats: Can you decipher that post?

No. (Don’t feel like deciphering. :))
