The Indian Thread (TiT) # 16

All the best to all you guys anyway :)

Thanks.
Got my UPenn interview on the phone today. eeek I wish I could have a proper face-to-face interview … :(

Industrial Engineering…u?

Computer Science.

Why Industrial Engg? What’s it all about?

oh, and what signs in particular?

Industrial Engg. becuz it’s one of the more general engg courses which doesn’t require hardcore science…It’s more about logics and has a lot of versatility. As an industrial engg, you can find jobs in many different fields. Also, I plan to be a businessman someday in the future, so Industrial engg would be a strong base for me…But I am also very interested in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

elaborate please   :D

Was just trying to bring out the eloquence in Greenie’s message  Lol…

I can pay the housing and the other deposits on the oscar page, which only admitted students can do …

OH!! Congratulations then!! Was GTech ur first choice?

Nah. But I was totally in love with the school until my terrible experience with their Admissions Office…

I’ve received a likely letter from UVa … as of now, it’s - 1. UVa 2. GT/McGill 3. UIUC

Oh awesome! UVA is a fantastic school!

I know! Never thought I’d get in! Well, technically I’m not in yet but fingers crossed  …

Yea, UVA is one of the best public school in US–and is awesome because of the funds it gets from rich Virgina residents.

Not to mention that size-wise it’s on the smaller end of the public universities spectrum…

They have a $5 Billion endowment; Absolutely phenomenal for a public school!

Yup. And the admissions people are the nicest lot on the planet! :)

In short, it’s an awesome place to be. :D

I’d be absolutely gutted if I don’t get in now. :|

Aww I’m sure you’ll get in

Dont worry guys, I am sure you will make it :D
