<p>Lol, I’m not worried, although I should be because it gets me working. I haven’t done a thing yet!</p>
<p>tetris, I really don’t think it’s a problem. You’ve improved loads after that year, and a 79 percent really isn’t that bad, especially considering your class rank is high. They want to see how you perform in relation to the environment around you, not the exact mark itself, right?</p>

<p>I’ll be sending the final term marks from grade 9-12.</p>
<p>Damn, I beat you guys in 9th marks…But I got totally owned in 11th and 12th thanks to the freakin JEE!!!
And the additional recs, I’m obviously not piling paper work…I’m talking about recs from decent people.</p>

<p>Well, gary, I don’t think any of the famous people I know can write me a rec saying stuff about me that isn’t already there in my essays and teacher recs and stuff. And the only one I know well is Bimal Jalan anyway.</p>
<p>@Quasi: I sure hope so. Besides I’m gonna be tinkering around with my school profile, so I’ll sure make my situation sounds great without saying a false word :p</p>
<p>@gary: Decent people or not is not the issue. The contents of their recommendations. That’s what we’re talking about.</p>
<p>Ahh, my school profile says that 65%+ in the 9th and 10th is awesome. Which IS true - people like me got 90s in the ICSE, and people who used to get 50s and 60s managed to hit low 80s. And those who flunked scrounged their way to a high 60 or low 70. Ah, the wonders of grade deflation…</p>
