cool, r u planning on joining a bhangra team when you go to college i am a coed team though

I shared similar reservations QuasiProfound. I kind of border on a Type A personality at times, but I don’t know if that’s just the way I’ve been conditioned through school or something deeper psychologically. Anyway, the good thing about Reed is that it isn’t a “we’re too cool for school” kind of place that downplays the learning or makes it easier. It is as intense as intense gets and damn proud of it. In a way, I’m glad they don’t voluntarily report grades because that would just drive people to insanity. In the past twenty years, only about ten people have graduated with a 4.0 and the average GPA has been 2.9-3.1. I guess, in this respect, ignorance can be bliss at Reed.

@maxwell- Whats so funny about wanting to go to Reed?

@gary7 Sorry, I take it back. Nothing funny about it. I lived in the vicinity of Reed College for several years. It is a unique place.

Lol, don’t worry! I’m applying to Reed BECAUSE its a funny place ;-)

I am glad you know what you are getting into. Looks like you have done adequate research and understand the uniqueness of Reed. Wish you all the best.

Merry Christmas, guys!

Feliz Navidad!

I don’t know why you’re assuming we’re ‘loaded’, Maxxwell. I can assure you we’re not (well, except tetris. :P).

Merrryyyyyyyy Christmassssss everybody!

Also, what the hell? We’re not acting like ‘pardesis’. What the hell do you know about what’s desi? The word desi in itself is the most pardesi bullcrap I’ve ever heard. We’re not desi, we’re Indian. It’s Indians in America who are desi - it’s a unique brand.

^ I just gave someone a similar lecture on the word “desi” a few weeks ago! And shut UP.

Looks like I missed some action in the past few pages. I’m going to backtrack and reply in a bit.

Err…wow. No comment.

Lol okay. I have a diatribe in mind, let’s see if it coincides with what you say.

Edit: Aww really?

Exactly why I didn’t backtrack :P

Merry Christmas!!!

to you too
