ok sisters wife I’ll Lend 500 bucks to u and ur wife

Lend you $500?? You don’t even need aid to attend Brown!

^Are you saying loaded? ;)

so what is the difference between iphone and ipad? Cause maybe I’m just blind, but I don’t see much difference.

hey guys the ipad looks cool its like a mini handheld laptop

Ipad. Rumjuhm those who have money buy the iphone. Those who have ebven more buy the ipad

ipod still cool though

Pod or pad?

ipod is nice the ipad looks cooler

Rumjhum, I will try based on what I have seen today. First, iPad is not a phone as we know.

The question I would rather ask is what is the difference between iPod Touch and iPad.

Here are some of the differences:
[ul][] Large screen
This makes the use of iPad practical for many applications including eBook. Amazon and Sony eBooks literally pale in comparison.
[] Faster cpu
[] 3G for data but I am not sure about VOIP. (costs extra $130)
[] New applications that uniquely take advantage of large multi-touch screen.
[] Applications which are fully featured unlike those that are crippled for mobile devices.
[] Access to iBookStore
[li] New games[/li][/ul]

As I said, not everyone will shell out $500+ when this device comes out. I think I can develop cool applications that take advantage rich user interactions possible in this device.

nice tippu, sounds like a cool device :)

Hey reading is not tht bad on the ipod touch

ansrox wow 439 post already wow you beat charles by a land slide haha :P

I’ve slowed down now…my mom figured out I was wasting time so I bob in once in 20 min to catch In on the action

oh but still for the new guy you have done a lot of posts

@ansrox iPod Touch is a very nice device. Some analysts believe that iPad sales will be at the expense of iPod Touch (estimated # is like 30% of projected iPads). We can’t really tell how successful this device will be until we get to play with initial set of apps, how well the virtual keypad works etc. It has to be better than iPhone/iPod Touch keypad.

@fp Just give ansrox another couple of days. He will surpass your count too. He (or she?, if we are to believe Q) is quite capable of hitting double century in one sitting.

yea, I saw all the videos apple has explaining the ipad. It seems very nice and all, my only problem with it is that it seems to have more entertainment value than functional value. I mean, being able to watch movies, surf the web in high res is nice and all but def. not essential. Also, I feel like with the ipad you can’t do half the things that you can on laptops, such as documents and basically, it seems to me that it serves pretty superficial purposes. I much more prefer the iphone, which I think is the best apple device, because it quite literally is everything you need in the modern world of communication in your pocket.

hey tippu, i hope ansrox doesnt plan to surpass my counts, haha and he is a boy

@Rumjhum, I understand what you are saying. We can’t be sure how useful/successful this device will be until we play with it. This is definitely a new breed and it will be interesting to watch how this evolves. I am a developer and a gadget freak. I don’t mind using computers for petty and superficial purposes. I do that already :)
