<p>Hey guys! First post on this thread. I’m from India natively, but I live in Doha, Qatar with my parents (been here since I was 2). I go to an Indian school (CBSE) here. I visit India every year - awesome place. 
Just wanted to say ‘Hi!’.</p>
<p>I’ve just gotten into year 12 now (starting early so they get more time in it), the one with the ‘board exams’. Wrote the SATs this January.</p>
<p>I’m into computer programming, math, physics and stuff. I’ve worked on software projects, mostly computer-game-related (great way to apply math and physics 
). I’m a great fan of Linux and open source software too.</p>
<p>I’m also into music - especially percussion - I play the Indian Tabla. Great fun. I love it. I’m writing some formal examinations too (music isn’t all about this, but it gives some ‘direction’, and it’s a good way to tell someone who isn’t into music you mean business ), done my ‘Senior Second Year Diploma’, next up is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in most Universities.</p>
<p>Right now I’m self-studying for AP Physics B and AP Calculus BC. Doing this because I want to get a little deeper into electronics (mainly for the hardware and low-level software) (understanding electricity & magnetism being a prerequisite to this) and calculus is cool - AP is just a ‘by-product’. :P</p>
<p>So whatcha guys ‘into’? Anyone having similar interests as me (software, percussion, open source, physics, math)?</p>

<p>tetris, i plan to write an essay about the hilarious groups we all keep joining on facebook, and how nice we feel to see hundreds of thousands of people feel the way we feel about things as hilarious as “i love it when i wake up in the morning and see ‘1 new message’ on my phone” :p</p>
