<p>@Sushmita I applied to HYP, Dartmouth, a few LACs, Brown, Uchic, etc. They’re all high reaches, which is why I’m studying my ass off for the board exams right now so I know I’m going somewhere after school. There’s always good old DU…</p>

<p>hey guys… need some inputs from you…i got into Univ of South Florida (honors college) with about 40% scholarship. got in to UF & Purdue too not honors college and no scholarship. Which is a better univ in terms of academic and career prospects.
I plan to major in economics. I will be going to grad school for my masters too after this… HELP PLZZZZ.</p>
<p>@ singapore, It is a tough call. It all depends on what you (or your parents) can afford. Generally honors classes are much smaller and you get better attention. If I were in your situation then I would opt for USF - save money, study hard, do well in GRE, get into an elite school for graduate studies and nobody will care where I did my undergrad. Just my 2 cents.</p>
<p>Quasi, I am a humanities-er too. It just so happens because of the eff’d up system that I have to study physics and chemistry. That doesn’t make me a sciencie and certainly not an un-humanities-er.</p>
