The Indian Thread (TiT) #18

12 hours between 2 posts. should explain a lot.

Fun conversation was taking place on International 2014 thread. Spitting on Sarkar was hilarious! You guys go to some interesting schools over there in Calcutta.

The self proclaimed racist has a very interesting life indeed.

I’m going to screw up today!!

hey fp hows it going?
hahah and Max, Im not at Berkeley, that was just a general comment (:

Hi Rumjhum, how did your Harvard interview go? I read about going to the wrong Starbucks. One of my friends missed MIT interview just like that.

@charles: it does explain a lot. So, has everybody got their decisions or waiting for the dreaded April Fool’s day?

We’re waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiting.

Today was the funniest paper ever.

Swish gurdle Swish gurdle.

I have just flushed this thread down the crapper.

Hey boards over yay!
Well technically they aren’t but I have 10 days of holidays till the next ppr!!

lol Quasi, how’s life going for you?

hahahah Tippu, it actually turned out really well. It lasted for 2 hours, and it really wasn’t an interview at all! It was basically like a conversation, we talked about so many things! Including affirmative action, what the rest of the world thinks of the US, kids putting their parents in Old Age Homes etc. Yea. It was fun. She told me a lot of her life stories too and the lessons she learned from them. Hahaha I kinda felt like I was the interviewer (:

Hi Rumjhum, I am glad it turned out well for you. You have to throw us a party when you get that admission letter from Harvard. Good luck!

^hahaha I appreciate your enthusiasm (=
Thanks :D

hey rumjhum, nothin much, what about u?

I wish harvard had interviews for Indian applicants in India! :frowning:
i’m sick of isc already and I’m sick of waiting!!!

charles did u apply to a lot of colleges like quasi

charles: Harvard does have interviews in India. However, it only interviews those applicants it wants to know more about…

This might be for two reasons:

 1. It doesn’t have sufficient information on that candidate, and wants to make an informed decision.
 2. It is interested in that candidate…

An acquaintance of mine got the interview last year :)

When did your aquaintance get the interview ? And if I dont get an interview does that mean I don’t have a chance? :(

Do you know Vandit Shah? I think he was on college discussion…
He got the Harvard interview…but didn’t get in [I think he was waitisted, and chose to go to Wharton].

Charles, my friend, be optimistic!!! Although that MIGHT be a possibility, the interviews might just be given to people who have given insufficient information on their apps.
And trust me! There are other equally good colleges in the US [not to say that your chances of getting into Harvard have been reduced :)]

Now c’mon Charlie boy!!! Gimme a smile!!!

Help me fp!
