And its not all about the campus too,NU has the perfect majors for me which Mich and Chicago are not providing!</p>
<p>Sad to hear that prateek!! But Major is a thing that you can’t comprise on so I think the reasons for the transfer is quite understandable!!</p>
<p>Thankfully (right now) NU provides the exact major I want so I am all up for it!! </p>
<p>Columbia is an awesome place too (Understatement??) and people there are friendly too in fact when I went there I was expecting cranky New Yorker behavior but I was pleasantly surprised so I think you’d fit in just fine!!</p>
<p>I think NU is more liberal when it comes to choosing classes and Columbia is liberal in the whole social front!! So yay for you! :p</p>

<p>@whoever asked about the essay: I’m obsessed with brevity, so my longest essay was ~530 words. Just ensure that you don’t write something that’s of Biblical proportions. But yes, did I mention that I favour conciseness? </p>
