jaagi jaagi soyi na mein saari raat unki liyeeeeeee

^thats correct, right

This conversation is incredibly boring. .__.

^ then please make it interesting. i m all ears. :)

yeah, entertain us then, blue box

x__x

Pass.

no, cmon mr. interesting

hi tar_heel. r u excited about going to chapel hill? what r u going to study there?

blue_box, urs is an incredible story. we mostly hear from ppl born with a silver spoon in their mouth. hats off to ur family.

what happened to blue box?

The strength of Indian society is the value it places on education. Most Indian parents go to any length to provide their children best education possible.

Today is Fathers Day.

Thanks Tippu. You’re referring to a post I wrote a while back? I think its the same story with many families.
And yea, I agree with your post above.

I think I’ll study comp science. And possibly try to double major with business, if I can pull it off. =)

awww, thats so nice to hear

my dad use to be dirrrrrrrrrrt pooor and has come such a long way to provide his brothers and sisters and children with the best education possible

hey ppl how are you all
Has anyone seen raavan yet?
Also i heard legacy helps at college admissions, so if a relation of mine teaches at caltech will it help me in any way in the admission process?

well good luck blue box :]

sorry for being rude earlier…

jbubbles: Yea, I think that’s how it is with sooo many people.

So many of you are stalking my posts though. o_o

n0mad: Raavan is terrible. My family liked it, I hated it. If you don’t mind Mani Ratnam films then you won’t really mind this either. But I’m not a big fan of Ratnam.

Legacy isn’t really staff-related. Its usually if a parent is a graduate of the university. I’m not totally sure about the answer to your question though. I imagine it would have some effect, but whether its enough to make or break your application, I don’t know.

[edit] Thanks jbubbles. =)

hi nomad.

no, haven’t seen raavan. plan to see either karate kid or toy story today.

ur connection at caltech could be of help with application but i doubt that it will play any role in the admission process unless u have done some research work with the help of that person.
this is just a wild guess.

what i m told is that legacy could help to take u off of waiting list. who knows?

lol tell us ur story :]

bubbles, how was ur panini sandwich?

lol i havent ate son

ok i wanted to see a movie as my review test just got over today, wanted to unwind a little
I’m not a mani ratnam fan, but i did like guru, the only director i absolutely love is tarantino. Maybe i’ll see shawshank redemption tomorrow.
