<p>Does anyone have any experience with the Interdepartmental Major at Duke? Looking at the website, from what I understand, it is something more rigorous than a double minor but less rigorous than a double major, which is actually perfect for my academic interests. Am I correct though?</p>

<p>Is it difficult and/or competitive to get the permission to build an IDM? Is it almost as flexible as Brown’s New Curriculum?I honestly don’t know what I’m going to major in for college yet, but for example, if I want to combine Computer Science with Physics, or Computer Science with Econ, or Physics with Econ, or Neuroscience with Computer Science, or Neuroscience with Econ, would it be feasible?</p>
