I imagine that that would be difficult if you need two working parents to deal with the high cost of living in SF.

The Windows7 forum I looked at were talking about how to get rid of Zynga desktop and taskbar links. I don’t have those. You must have downloaded something from Zynga which I never did. To play the game I didn’t need to download anything. It needs Adobe Flash Player to run though.

I downloaded software related to managing my motherboard (Gigabyte) which apparently had some free tool that had Zynga embedded in it. Apparently Asus does this too. I imagine that there are other products hidden in regular software that does this too.

I think that it’s a slimy way to make yourself persistent on a computer, even when it is clear that the customer doesn’t want your product.

It shld be illegal to do that.

Did you see the bit on Corzine and Holder?

No. What can you tell me?

Holder’s law firm had MF Global as a client.

I grew up thinking people were honest and do the right things.

The firm I am with is still hundreds of thousands short from getting whole from MF Global.

A friend is still tens of thousands short.

I would never keep my money at a futures firm.
The CFTC is a joke.

Corzine is not in jail yet, right ? ;)

Hopefully, his mind is in jail. ;)

Probably not.

“Something is radically wrong when Bank robbers get jail
And robber barons don’t”

My mind has problems with the above.

Why are robber barons heroes?

I was on the phone with CFTC as soon as I figured out we were defrauded. The CFTC person I contacted started the ball rolling quickly asking for various documents. However, the broker was able to escape out of the country. Five years later, he was finally tracked and captured. I got a check a year later but still the distribution amount to the investors was barely 5% of the net loss and my check amount represented a pro rata share of the 5% distribution.

I invested because I fully trusted the FC who trusted his client who pitched the idea because the client trusted his son who trusted the broker he worked with.

Sounds like Chad Gadya, a passover rhyme.

Time to buy some sbux and fb? Perhaps sell some weekly puts tomorrow?

Well…amzn is up about 5 bucks…

I don’t think that aug 215 straddle is going to be up.

FB is down, I think about 5. Sbux is down a similar amount.

FB shareholders are just screwed so far.

The stock market was up quite a bit today, but the public customer wasn’t playing.

I told my wife I don’t understand Amzn. She said she loves Amzn, so I
guess that explains Amzn.

Edit…Now I see doct’s post. Nice timing. :)
