Ok I sold 19 of those ddd 2/8 60 puts so far. I am away from the market so that might be it…

At what price - I sold the 2/16 55’s for .25

11 for .25. 8 for .30

Doug Kass is expecting a big sell off. He was right on Apple. Scary.

He’s been wrong a lot before. He’s often months ahead. Kass doesn’t know anymore than anybody else which is pretty much 0.

“Bill Miller commented on aapl…”

Why would anybody care what Bill Miller thinks? He’s right behind Alan Greenspan on the list of people whose reputation took the biggest hits in 2008. Yeah, he guessed right last year, but he guessed wrong the year before. You might as well flip a coin.

I have no idea…

[Increasing tick sizes is bad news for individual investors](http://www.marketintelligencecenter.com/articles/259491)

Just because tick sizes are a penny doesn’t mean the difference between the bid and offer has to be a penny. In the smaller stocks, the difference between the bid and offer already is more than a penny.

So I am skeptical of changing the tick sizes. I think the individual investor gets screwed.

I guess David is getting tired of losing money in aapl:[UPDATE 1-Greenlight’s Einhorn sues Apple, ‘dissatisfied’ with plans](http://www.cnbc.com/id/100442433)

Einhorn can’t be too happy with aapl these days…

Sold more puts in ddd.

Well…I was in the middle of a trade in aapl and the company made an announcement that aapl would look at Einhorn’s proposal and that cost me 400 bucks. I got legged out. This means I did not complete the buy side of the spread.

Oh well. I just want to post when I lose…

Lost 400 bucks on a 1 lot. Hard to do. :)

DocT,
I saw your question from 18-JAN (“Anybody here ever use SimpleAllocation.com”) while doing some search engine optimization.

I am the owner of SimpleAllocation.com, so I thought I’d see if there are any questions I can answer for you. I could not PM you, as you have to have made 15 posts in order to be able to PM.

I’d be happy to have an on-line discussion, or take it off-line. If you PM me, please include an email address at which I can contact you.

Maybe some of that went to me - I made 525 on aapl today - lost on pretty much everything else however.

That’s my gift to you. :)

Thanks - I’m also giving special thanks to David Einhorn.
