I guess I would prefer to be long tna instead of intc.

Is the fed going to taper off or is the stock market going to have another bubble?

I guess I would prefer to be long tna instead of intc.

Is the fed going to taper off or is the stock market going to have another bubble?

Yeah I’ve blown that one out. I keep wanting to buy iwm calls and instead only sell puts.

Blown what out?

Intc calls?

No - I should have been buying iwm calls instead of selling puts

This feels like one of those Turnaround Tuesdays of options expirations week.

I have no idea how options are affecting the market today.

I was up at 3:30. The futures were down a tiny amount. Wake up hours later and I see the stock market is having a great day.

The Tepper effect? That is a pretty good return he had last year.

The stock market is up 15 Tuesdays in a row? 19 Tuesdays in a row? Something that has an extremely low probability of occuring has happened.

I don’t know about that. The market changed course while Tepper was talking as was pointed out in the link that has his conversation on cnbc.

He drastically moved the market the last time he was on cnbc.

“Yeah I’ve blown that one out. I keep wanting to buy iwm calls and instead only sell puts.”

I am trying to make a small amount of money consistently for 20 years. I guess I should have just tried to make bigger money over 1 year instead.

Sometimes there are opportunities to go for the bigger money and qe3 gave us one…I guess qe3 is still giving us an opportunity.

What are your thoughts on SNE dstark since your TSLA was a really good call.

Turnaround Tuesday (sometimes Wednesday or Thursday too) when the market goes in one direction for the beginning and then does a hard reverse for the middle and then a range for the end to kill the puts and the calls.

Ok… I like the article, but I don’t think the article is stating what you are stating BCEagle91. There are problems with the article also. This maximum pain concept for one.

Krillies, i don’t know anything about sne. A few ideas hit me a year and that is it. Sne is your idea. Why do you like sne? Or why are you interested in sne?

It looks to me at this stage that it may be wise to go much longer and buy downside put protection

Do you guys discuss/opine about individual stocks? I was asked to review a stock that looks good but I think is overvalued. Its chipotle. Thoughts?

Doct, If that is what you think…

I think otm stuff looks interesting…

Risking small amounts to make larger amounts…

I don’t want to chase Tepper’s market.

dstark, the FM guys (I know you don’t like them) just discussed SNE a few minutes ago and just what I thought it’s a macro play on Japan and Loeb. I’m not sure if I’m going to buy more though.

What is DocT talking about? Is that for INTC?

Jym626, sure we do, but our opinions are just that…opinions.

I don’t follow chipotle. I asked Krillies a similar question. Why are you interested in chipotle?

Well krillies, I like Japan for whatever that is worth.

jym626 I mentioned CMG last April 18, post #6807 with a target px of $375. So, it’s really toppy now.
