Well I’m thinking of the 6/22 iwm calls. I could buy the 101 calls and sell the 93 puts for 0. I could also buy a call spread and a ratio put spread. I’m looking at this right now.

Thanks, krilies. Am in an investment group and it was my stock to research. I had mixed feelings and its pricey right now.

I think that trade is ok for somebody that looks at a glass and doesn’t see it as broken.

I am thinking longer term. I am not that much of an optimist. Lol

Wow…

Perhaps buying a 12/31 iwm itm call, selling the 109 call, buying a 98 - 88 - 85 put spread may be better. I will probably not do anything until tomorrow.

Yeah… Think about it…

I want to see the Tepper reaction calm down

Anybody know why aapl fell off a cliff just before 2:00?

This news?

If this is what did it - nobody seems aware of it as cnbc etc are still trying to figure out what happened.

Nok and bbry were down today. Those stocks were down more than aapl but they went down at different times than aapl.

There is also a chance that the buyer for aapl to buy its own stock pulled its bid today. Doesn’t mean the buyer is done permanently. I am sure the company has not finished buying. The above is pure speculation.

Perhaps it was selling when aapl hit the 450 mark where there are probably a lot of stops.

I missed this. Tepper cut his stake in aapl?

He said he was looking for something evolutionary to commit more capital to aapl

He also said he had bought some when it had dropped below 400. I sold a couple of aapl call spreads that I had picked up when aapl was down 2 points or so. I guess I lucked out.

I guess we found out why aapl was going down yesterday with the news today. Funny how the market seemed to find this out. Again I was a bit lucky and sold my aapl butterfly first thing this morning.
