There is a pot of gold and people fight over it. Lobbyists fight over it. There is a reason there are so many lobbyists. In Cal, I voted against prop 30 which raised taxes. I had no idea that if prop 30 did not pass places like Lifehouse and Cedars were going to see their funding cut. These places house the developmentally disabled. So yeah… There are choices made who gets the money.

This 2 percent against 98 percent is ridiculous. I am fighting against myself? Lol.
No.

I am arguing about how much gold people get. If it is between the developmentally disabled or lower taxes for the top 2 percent, I come down in favor of the developmentally disabled.

This backdoor roth is a bunch of bs. That is a tax break for the upper middle class and wealthy. That is a fact. It is not an opinion.

So the pot is limited, but growing. But the pot doesn’t grow fast enough. So if one group saves billions, Others lose billions. That is a fact. Groups know this and they hire lobbyists to get a bigger share of the pot of gold.

So…when a small segment of the population saves hundreds of thousands or millions in taxes over several years, that impacts others that don’t. That is a fact. There is less for those that don’t get.

If there are 100 people and $100,000 and two people split the 100,000 and the other 98 get nothing, it is pretty obvious who benefits. The two people that receive the 100,000. Everyone knows this. That is why groups are fighting with each other.

The way the country has been working lately… For each additional income or wealth creation of $100,000, out of 100 people, 98 share a thousand dollars of additional wealth or income. One person receives 6,000. One person gets 93,000. I might be off a tiny, tiny bit.

I think this is going to be a very big problem someday. Much bigger problem than the young vs the old. The way income and wealth are distributed does affect the economy. I am not making this crap up.
