This could be a topic on the Parent’s Forum. The interesting thing is the charts. I didn’t actually read the underlying article on how to profit from this - just the delinquency rate chart.

So PS4 is expected to kick the xbox’s butt?

I don’t know what is going to happen with student loans but the inability to discharge the loans in banruptcy should be changed. Othwerwise, students are going to be prisoners for life.

The China story is scary. Whenever banks are involved, it is scary.

There is A Singapore story about market manipulation. Then there is a broader story of market manipulation. Some bankers are just disgusting human beings.
I used to write more about banks, but I just got tired writing About banks.

Somebody said in this link if a market can be manipulated it will be manipulated.

You have to be nuts or supremely confident to do this kind of thing in Singapore. Singapore is known for very harsh punishment of crimes.

Had a short scalp on AAPL today. AAPL is in a descending triangle with support around $431 and it’s coming to a head. I think that it’s going to decide which way it wants to go pretty soon. My guess is up $5 or down $10.

There was an article on PSEC today - at it’s current marketcap, it’s bigger than some companies in the $SPX. I’d like to see them added to the $SPX from the Russel 3000. I wonder what the process is.

Looks like they’re looking for $4B market cap except in special circumstances. I think that the high dividend payout will limit marketcap growth for a while.

Smith has been a penny stock promoter for years. I don’t know why he is being fired now. He is entertaining and that’s why he is on the show. Nobody pays attention to his picks.

I know you guys aren’t as big into gaming as me, but I thought you might get a kick out of this article. Basically, because of Microsoft’s requirements for the console to always be connected to the internet and region locking, military personnel out of the country will be unable to play any games on an Xbox One. The response from Microsoft?

Microsoft also says the Kinect, with a camera and microphone which will always be on, is not a security threat and the military shouldn’t worry about it.

I enjoy reading what you guys write about the stock stuff, even though pretty much all the options stuff is over my head. I just wish I did better with my own occasional trades.

I’ve mostly given up on consoles (only get into PC games anymore), but all the drama is still fun to watch. :)

If the rumors that Microsoft (and most likely Sony) are going to eliminate the used game market are true, I don’t think these consoles will succeed. A large percentage of new game sales is actually driven by customers being able to sell their used games to get the money for new games.

If a gamer can’t recoup some of that $60, they are either going to only buy a few games a year, or just skip getting the console because getting games will be too expensive.

Greed could very well kill both of these consoles.

I believe it is always on by default, but the user can shut it off.

Racinreaver,
Well to make things more complicated, I am hoping intc closes around 25 on Friday even though I make more money the higher intc goes. :)

And I have so many option trades on in intc I am not going to bother posting them. Plus I want to be able to change my mind. I dont want to get locked into any outcome. :)

Bought a new laptop with Windows 8 on it. Windows 8 stinks. It’s less user friendly than 7. MSFT puts apps on his first screen to promote its crappy products. Nobody in his right mind uses their search engine. IE is terrible so I downloaded Chrome. It will take me a lot of time to fix it so it provides the software I want rather than MSFT’s products.

Install Classic shell and you will almost never have to go into the Modern UI. I like Windows 8 - great performance and Pro only cost me $40 for the upgrade. I just hate the Modern UI and fortunately there’s an Open Source program to disable Microsoft’s UI.
