“And i am not a professional, and having a very good day.”

The day is still young.

CLN2 is now down almost 3 bucks…

My gasoline costs better stop dropping.

I’m down today also - .23%

Doct…that’s not a big deal…

Nope and I’ve got to thank you for it - those ratio spreads work great!

Uh oh…the neighbor who bought FB also thanks Dstark,so be careful. ;)

I am happy to read that…Doct…

The neighbor would have been out if she listened to me… ;)

I was in Europe for 3 weeks. While traveling, the exchange rate improved to the point where I must have saved $75 or $100 on my fx conversions, while my portfolio dropped … $$ you get the idea.

Intel is at breakeven right now. They were even up a little earlier. There was some stuff about pulling in their 14 nm Atoms one year ahead of schedule and having a four-year lead in process compared to their competition this morning.

"Uh oh…the neighbor who bought FB also thanks Dstark,so be careful. "

You obviously have to know what you’re doing.

Doct…you still have to watch the downside. I know you are.

Njres…I guess you had an imperfect hedge…like JPM. :)

I am glad to see Intc holding on…

Yes. This works well with the likes of aapl, spy because those lower puts are easy to roll out with a profit.

Ok…great…

[Mary Meeker Explains the Mobile Monetization Challenge - Liz Gannes - D10 - AllThingsD](Mary Meeker Explains the Mobile Monetization Challenge - Liz Gannes - D10 - AllThingsD)
There are lots of places to find evidence of the mobile monetization gap. Effective desktop CPMs are five times the price of mobile Internet CPMs in the U.S.: $3.50 versus $0.75. And companies like Pandora, Tencent and Zynga currently report that average revenue per user is as much as five times lower on mobile. Google’s and Facebook’s financials show mobile is constraining revenue growth.

This is the trend that Facebook and Google are heading towards. The silver lining is that the numbers of mobile subscribers is increasing quickly but can it offset a five to one disadvantage? That’s a tough one.

Interesting link, BCEagle91.

Mary Meeker is having a hell of a career…considering she went to Depauw for undergrad. I didn’t know that was possible after reading posts on CC. She did go to grad school at Cornell. I did not think Cornell would take DePauw grads. :)

Anyway…she seems kind of positive on the idea advertising will move to mobile.

^^ my memory may be faulty but I’m not sure how great her career was during the dot.com bubble.

She was a bubble lady…did not seem to hurt her though.
