I don’t really know how to judge my essay – I thought it was good at the time, but now I think I could have done something better.
I want to major in Spanish.</p>

<p>Hey. My stats are pretty similar to yours (lower in some areas like GPA and SAT 2s) and I got a letter saying that admission was very likely for me. So if I’m okay, you are! Good luck! (Sorry about Swarthmore…never liked that school…but Dickinson is good!)</p>

Don’t be so hard on your essay - everyone feels that way when they read it several months later. That’s just a tribute to how much you’ve grown intellectually in just a few months. Plus it is always easy to second guess. I am sure you will do just fine. Only a few more days to go!!</p>

Essay was graded in my Honors English 3 class and received 100/100.
EC’s are mostly musical in nature, but I was also a Girl Scout for nine years and earned both my Silver and Gold Awards.
My dad is an alum.</p>
<p>I really only want to get in to make my dad happy. He knows I’m not going, but it’s still sort of important to him that I get accepted. Anyone who wants my spot can have it! <em>laughs</em> It’s all yours.</p>
