The limited times for SAT

<p>Hi all, I know this is a stupid question, but I can’t find the right information anywhere
Collegeboard said we cannot take the SAT more than 3 times a year. But I still don’t know the “year” they mention here is academic year ( example 08/09 ) or only normal year ( 08 )
That means if I already took the Oct and Nov SAT in 2008, can I still take the January, May, and June SAT in 2009?</p>

<p>Please answer as quick as possible, I really need this information. Thank you</p>

<p>I know I can take it more than 3 times. But my problem is I need to take it in Jan, May or maybe June 2009. If Collegeboard limited 3 times a academic year ( 2008/2009 ). I’m DEAD,man</p>
