the lowest SAT score accepted by Stanford EA?

What’s the lowest score accepted by stanford EA for international students?
EA and RD which has more chances for high school juniors?
Thanks~

i’m pretty sure the lowest scores are from the athletes
i dont think the figures have been released for people who were accepted for academic reasons

Stanford claims not to have hard cut-off scores, and that makes sense, because any college will admit someone truly AMAZING whose weakest aspect of the application file is test scores. On the other hand, it’s hard to be amazing, so it doesn’t hurt to prepare well for the standardized college admission tests. The best preparation for the college admission tests, especially for international students, is to READ, READ, READ, and READ a lot in English, in varied kinds of publications.

If you are in doubt about test scores, it’s not a good idea to apply as a junior. Usually the juniors who are admitted at the top colleges have high test scores and plenty of other desirable characteristics well above the level of most admitted seniors.

THank you~good idea.
what if I skip my junior year and be a senior and then apply as a senior?
Is that better?

Before I say more, I’d like to understand better why you would like to go through high school in fewer years. Why are you thinking of either applying as a junior or of skipping junior year in high school?

Chinese students go to school 1 year later than American. So I am 17 now.1990er.
We don’t have any new classes on senior year.Courses are almost finished now.THe last year we just review the old things and do all kinds of tests to prepare for the national college entrance exam.School from 6:50 AM to 10:50PM.I don’t think we have time to do ECs and develope social skills.Especially in such competitive school,if I skip school for a month,I will probably get 1000 out of 1500 students.Because everyone is studying in every second.
In China, instead of applying to college,we only take that exam. Each college has there own score line.for example,700.If I get a 700+/750,I will get into that top university, but if I get a 699/750.I won’t have the chance there. and Get into a common college or a bad one.We can only choose 1 university!!and there are millions of kids taking that exam on the same day.Luck is really important.
If I decide to study abroad,I don’t need to take that exam and to review the things I am already good at and unrelated to my future concentration. So the year doesn’t help me at all.I also choose some chemistry courses in University. All my school works are strong enough to apply.(I don’t know what my SATs will be like). So I want to apply as a high school junior.a year in college can work a lot.
