The LSAT

After taking the SAT and the ACT, which are both reasoning tests, I found them to be ridiculously easy (2360 & 36). So I wanted to try a more difficult reasoning test that would more accurately portray my critical thinking skills, which is the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test). After taking the official practice test, I got a 175 (Out of 180). I was looking for advice on whether or not I should take this test (if anyone knows about it), and if it would even help me for my college application (I heard that law schools average your scores, but they also expire every five years…which is when I would be taking the test in college). Thanks.

P.S. I’m a Junior in high school and a newbie to the whole college process (this is a great site!).

Don’t do it. expend your energy on something that’s worthwhile to others (community service, school clubs, volunteerism, etc.) You have a great gift for doing well on tests. Don’t be a show off. The adcoms would wonder why you’re devoting energies to that. Heck, in some states you can take the BAR exam and be a lawyer…

I wouldn’t. I had similar test scores (SAT…never bothered with the wimpy ACT) and would never have considered. Basically, colleges will think you’re a loser.

Look at me, guys, I study for tests I don’t need yet can I get into your college?

Self Study an AP.

Who said he studied? :S

i’m suspicious of show-offs with low post counts

It’s obviously a ■■■■■, stop feeding it. This one is not very funny.

lol, this is funny. While you’re at it, try the GMAT and MCAT too.

Okay, yeah, I’ll probably pass on it then. I’ll talk to my college counselor about it too.

What’s a “■■■■■”?
