<p>cathisabella, you wouldn’t receive any mail today, unless you live really close to the MHC office, cuz the letters are being sent today. So people should be getting letters starting tomorrow.</p>

<p>you should have found out if you got into Queens and/or Brooklyn as a general freshman in Feb, but you can only be accepted as a Macaulay student for one school. The school is based on the order you picked when you did the application. I assume if you were rejected as Macaulay student form your 1st choice but your 2nd choice accepted you then you’d prob just get a decision form that school.</p>
<p>Nah, I am an international student. So, they sent me an email. I got rejected 
But honestly, I didnt expect to get in… My stats are not that good :P</p>

<p>i got in! i really don’t know how though, considering there are SO MANY people with better stats than I have who got turned down. Maybe it was the essays? i honestly have no idea. and @DMA: THANKS! Oh that stinks though, I’m sorry. Yeah I remember reading somewhere that they mostly accept applicants from the NY area (NJ, PA, CT, etc.) which is kind of silly. But I hope you get into Brown and all your other schools! :)</p>
<p>I’m so confused! I got a rejection email yesterday but I got it from Macaulay at City College and my first choice was clearly indicated as Brooklyn on the application…</p>
<p>I’m kind of surprised I didn’t get in, I thought I had above average stats. Did Brooklyn or City College become massively more competitive this year or something? :3</p>
<p>FYI your generic letter from Macaulay was for the ENTIRE program, not the City College. They sent it to everyone because they only considered first choice schools - and if you were declined you were afterward declined (as they had reached their max seating for each school)</p>
