<p>Oh, actually, if you end up visiting campus soon, go to Olin Library, across from the clocktower, and walk over to the Kroch (south asian studies) Library. In one of the stacks, the one with all the periodicals (first floor) is what looks like either an original copy of the screen print, OR the ORIGINAL screenprint…of Mao by Andy Warhol. </p>

<p>But really… some upcoming yale hopefully will find this thread in a few years, read it all, and see the incredible journey laid out in front of him in great detail, and random topics. And see the coming and going to many a member, who by that time will be just ghosts in the archives of CC. Indeed, what we and other’s have done here is something eternal and tangible as it was a way to cope with anticipation, stress, and rejection, waitlisting, or for a select few, acceptance. </p>
<p>The real magic of the magical thread is even with rejection and all it’s a story that speaks to perseverance, and the real lesson this thread would impart is that not all great people get in, plenty who are amazing here got rejected. And that Yale is not the end all, we have all happily found other great places to go. </p>

<p>well I’ve also made my choice. Even though I wasn’t accepted to Yale, I’ll be livin’ it up at Hanover this fall. I want to thank you all for your incredible support and HUMOR through this whole process. I’ll miss our random progression from topic to topic, the ridiculously inappropriate puns, and our whole big discussion about food and writing in a different language just because we can. <em>laughs</em> I’ll miss y’all.</p>
