^ Epic Movie is a satire comedy, so of course they’re gonna be goofy like that :)

^except for the fact that “Epic Movie” wasn’t very good. :P

^ That doesn’t change the fact that it was satirical. It was bad satire, but it was satire nonetheless. The point is, they did the Latin stuff poorly on purpose.

I was totally serious about Epic Movie. It’s got to be one of the WORST movies ever… but it was so bad it was hilarious. You appreciate the ridiculous portrayal of stuff.

The poorly done latin was one of the most memorable and funny parts. The fact it was being said by some albino monk with an afro was crazy.

Q: What’s funnier than Epic Movie?

A: The bubonic plague.

Oh, goldenratiophi, your humor never ceases to entertain.

The strange calmness (in response to page 49 of this truly EPIC thread) has settled in, though I doubt I’ll feel it the hour before decisions are released…

And yes, I do speak English guys! Hahaha, the languages were fun :)

Latin? I had the option to take it but I felt that Chinese would be way more fun.

Q: What’s funnier than Epic Movie?

A: I Love College by Asher Roth

The page count on this thread will go from like 65 to 100 in 2 hours.

Not necessarily, I remember before SCEA you could barely load a single page on CC it was so busy. Beat central.

I hope the humour and sarcasm keep flowing though…

^ Yeah, and add Harvard and Pton into the mix (who werent around for SCEA).

ah, Mal77, but the thing is that ridiculous language part would have been great IF if wasn’t a ripoff from Scary Movie 4.

Here’s the passage. And it might just be me, but I found this much more amusing: [YouTube - Scary Movie 4 - How to Speak in Japanese?](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GU3-e8RbVE4)

Do you wonder what the applicants for next year are going to think when they see this thread?

^ They won’t read this. They’ll only care about decision day: the stats and the magic words: Accepted!! or…Rejected :(

Here’s hoping the former is in our future.

Did you get into any other colleges hookem?

I hope its easier for next years applicants

Not yet, Dbate.

Just Plan II at UT.
Waitlisted at WashU :/

On the bright side, I haven’t gotten rejected anywhere yet, either!

Well I only applied to four schools: UT, Yale, Princeton, and Harvard. I know my list looks odd, but I really loved UT so for me it was my match and my safety. I applied to only the top Ivies because of financial reasons.

So far I got accepted to the engineering honors program at UT with about a full ride. So even if I get rejected I still have a GREAT college to attend. That is what I keep telling myself :)

Wouldn’t it be epic if we both got in, two Texans living it up in CT. Oh gosh, they better know how to cook beef up there.

Does connecticut even have cows, and congrats on etting into UT guys I also got in there with a full ride and plan II.

Woo, we could have a texas hoe down right there on the New Haven Green. For all those not from texas, we really don’t have hoe downs (except during rodeo).

^ I’ve never been anywhere near a rodeo in my life, and I refuse to do so in the future.
